This page of the SCASP website is made available to help link School Psychologists looking for employment to employers looking to hire. This page is not intended to provide all the information about the position. It provides some key information to get you started and to help you get in touch with the appropriate personnel. This page is not exhaustive; it is dependent on information submitted by employers. The first section is devoted to in-state job opportunities, the second section is out-of-state opportunities. Lexington School District One is now accepting applications for a School Psychologist II or III position.

Requires a Master’s + 30 or specialist degree in school psychology. Must possess state certification in school psychology; certification by the National Association of School Psychologists is desirable, but not required.


Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, provides a wide range of services to promote mental health, emotional/behavioral functioning, and educational progress for all students with and without disabilities; coordinates and consults with teachers, placement chairs, 504 chairs and Student Intervention Team chairpersons to design interventions, develop appropriate instructional goals and objectives, accommodations and modifications; performs related professional and administrative duties as required.
